![]() ![]() I love the fact that it vastly improves on the UI and quality of life while respecting the essense of the original game, and really like the mix between old school and modern graphics in the art style.Īnyway, this is just a bit of feedback I wanted to share. Other than that, I really enjoyed the demo. The animation itself looks great, and actually hitting the enemies feels punchy and satisfying, but the excessively short range makes it feel almost almost useless, which is a huge mistake considering how much you actually need to use it across the game, in order to save on ammo and kill weaker enemies. In the Remake, I felt like it was almost impossible to hit an enemy with the pipe without taking a hit yourself because its range was too short. Secretly brought onto Von Braun by TriOptimum, they were treated as an 'insurance' against the UNN forces on the Rickenbacker, should any conflict develop. They are a modified version of Assassins found aboard Citadel Station. ![]() ![]() In both cases, the enemy surrendered quickly: the Taliban regime in Afghanistan put up little organized resistance, and Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein saw his forces surrender en masse after the US invasion in March 2003. The UM/433p Cyborg Assassins are Cyborg enemies encountered in System Shock 2. I say this based of my experience with the original System Shock, where it was relatively easy to kill weaker enemies using just the pipe without taking any damage. The US repeated its shock and awe air attacks in Afghanistan after September 11 and in Iraq again in early 2003. I don't know if anyone else felt like this, but I think (from playing the demo) that the range of the pipe should be extended just a tad, and it'd make a lof of difference. ![]()
